Behavioral interviews: ownership and impact
This course covers behavioral interviews at the mid-level (pleno), with a focus on ownership and impact. The lessons follow Diego, a Rails developer at a Brazilian e-commerce company, as he builds stories for the four signals interviewers grade: scope, influence, conflict and ownership. Topics include outcome sentences with a number and its source, conflict stories with no villain, and mentoring a junior teammate without a title. Others cover handling a production incident and disagreeing with a lead. A final lesson runs a full round in Portuguese and English.
